Treatment Approach
I am a Harvard-trained and board-certified psychiatrist (through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology). I completed a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. I am an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, the Associate Director of the MGH Ketamine Clinic for Depression, an attending physician in Neuropsychiatry, Ketamine Clinic, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and the Acute Psychiatric Service. My research is focused on translational neuroimaging to understand neurocircuit-based mechanisms of depression and its treatments.
Having had these experiences, I am able to offer individual psychotherapy and medication management (pharmacotherapy) services fundamentally rooted in neuroscience.
My approach is to provide evidence-based and neuroscientifically-informed treatment, making thoughtful neuropsychiatric and neurocircuit-based formulations to support each of my patients’ individual needs and goals.
Areas of Expertise
I have particular expertise in Long-haul Covid (Post-Acute Sequelae of Covid, PASC), depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, TBI, Tourette’s Syndrome and tic-related disorders, as well as in psychiatric challenges in patients with neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis, stroke, and neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's Disease and dementing illnesses.
Billing and Fees
Like most psychiatrists in Boston who practice outside of hospital clinics, I am not in-network with any insurance companies. This means you will be responsible in full for your bill at the time of treatment. I accept payment by credit card or via Zelle.
At present I am not taking new patients into my Neuropsychiatric practice; however, please feel free to reach out with any questions.
